Halloween Fun

Image
For us, the Halloween festivities began last week when we went to a party hosted by Krudy. It was a bit of a costume-test-run. We dressed Brixton in his little lemur costume and hoped that he would keep his hat on for more than 2 minutes. I think he made it 3 minutes...long enough to snap a few pictures! Nick & Delia made Lucy's entire costume (well, except the boots). Don't you think she makes an excellent astronaut? Here is Brixton saying "cheese" for me while I took a photo. He made a few friends at the party... ...but for some reason they didn't feel like socializing! Even though it was a last minute trip, we made it over to Bates Nut Farm. Remember last year ? We actually had to prop him up next to the pumpkins! Not the case this year - he could hardly contain his excitement! After about 20 minutes of picking pumpkins, Brixton realized that he could run and run and no one would stop him: I tried to get him to take a picture with me, but I couldn't...

The Dojo

Can you tell Brixton was super excited to have his Daddy home for the weekend? I am well aware that one day Brixton will actually fit into Tzaddi's shoes. I think I might cry when that day arrives! Brixton has been quite active lately. His most favorite activity is kicking the soccer ball. Any ball, really. And as a matter of fact, it doesn't actually have to be a ball. It could be a block, a sock, a book or the dog. If it's on the floor, he's kicking it! So I told Tzaddi that we needed to make a better spot for Brixton to play with his balls (no pun intended). Backyard clean up ensued! And guess who wanted to help? Yes, Brixton helped rake the leaves into piles and then put the leaves into the garbage. How awesome is that? After an hour or so of work, we were all pretty tired. Do I even need to point out the fact that they have identical profiles??? After we were done cooling off, we decided to test out our new dojo. It was a success! And please don't talk smac...
