It's official: We've celebrated more birthdays without Rowan than with him. He would have been 7 years old today. Rowan's actual birthday was a day of pure happiness, excitement and joy. We knew our lives were going to change, but we had no idea just how much. We expected his birthday to be the beginning of the rest of our lives. And it was...just not the way we imagined. He was the sweetest baby...pure innocence and goodness rolled into one beautiful blue-eyed boy. We are so grateful that we were able to celebrate three wonderful birthdays with him. Our hearts are fuller because of him. We're better parents because of him. We love you, Beez!

Please excuse my lack of posting! I "lost" my camera for a few weeks only to discover that it was buried deep in the diaper bag. I was disappointed that I couldn't capture any Thanksgiving images, but I'll try to make up for it with lots of Christmas pictures this coming weekend! I don't know who this kid is, but he's definitely not my little baby boy! He grew up overnight! Lucy had a wonderful baptism with her other cousin, Kainalu.
