Lots of Toys

Image
On Winesday, Lucy decided to play with Brixton during a diaper change. Notice Lucy's panties. She decided to potty train herself last weekend and no more diapers for her!!! Here's Brixton getting in a few cuddles with Tzaddi before he left for work on Thursday. Tzaddi played disc golf on Saturday morning so I brought Brixton to bed with me so I could get a few extra z's. But Brixton was in such a good mood that I couldn't sleep. So I got out a few of his favorite toys and watched him play. After he played with each of them, I lined them up next to him so he could decide which was his absolute favorite. He thought it was a great idea! After much debate, he decided on Slungel. Slungel was made especially for him by his Over-Oma in Holland. She also made one for Rowan, Lucy and Fisher...how thoughtful of her! The Inzunza's came over for a BBQ on Saturday. Here's Brixton and Delia peeking over at Lucy while she used the potty. It was such a gorgeous night t

3 Months Old

Brixton hit another milestone on Tuesday - he is now 3 months old! I had planned on taking lots of pictures to show how much he's grown in the last month, but the day ended up being way too busy. We were lucky to have enough time to give Brixton a bath before bed - and Brixton decided to give his daddy a present beforehand. Tzaddi should know by now not to let a naked baby hang out too long without a diaper, but I guess a little pee never hurt anyone!

Weekend Update

Image
It seems as though I haven't had a minute to myself this week so this post will be short on details. I'll try to do better this weekend! Lucy decided to potty train herself this weekend (is she so smart or what) so I stopped by the Inzunza casa to give her a congratulatory hug in person! We went to Kevin's house on Saturday to help celebrate his and Dan's birthdays. Becky just got a bouncy seat for her impending baby boy so Brixton got to try it out. He gave it an A+! This is one of the only ways Brixton will smile during tummy time. Here's Lucy & Brixton watching the victorious Raider game on Sunday - woohoo!

Lots of Playtime

Image
Gina came over to hang out with me and Brixton on Winesday. Doesn't he look like a little Cabbage Patch Kid? Brixton usually sleeps around 10 hours at night. Consequently, he wakes up feeling very rested and ready to start his day. I took some pictures on Thursday morning to show how great his mood is...and he hasn't even had his coffee yet ;) Tzaddi came home from work on Thursday and decided to give Brixton some modified tummy time. Here's Brixton getting some real tummy time while Pixel cheered him on. Or waited to devour his head...I'm not really sure. Brixton's getting a lot more active in his gymini. He's trying to grab his toes and I think he's going to be a future soccer player. Look at how he uses his foot to kick the banana! Hey - we're twins! He's going to hate this picture when he's older... Brixton got some great playtime with his Daddy before he went to bed last night. They're so cute together!

A Visit with Rowan

Image
Yesterday Brixton and I visited with Rowan at the cemetary. For those who haven't been to the site (or it's been awhile), Rowan has a nice little spot under a tree. It gives the perfect amount of shade but still allows the sun to peek through. Yesterday was absolutely gorgeous...not too cold and not too hot. It seemed as though Brixton could have hung out there all day! I took several pictures, but for some reason when I went to transfer the pictures they disappeared to never-never land and only ONE photo came through. I'm pretty bummed, but at least one picture was saved. It's always so peaceful when we visit Rowan. It's not some creepy graveyard like you see in horror movies...it's actually one of the most beautiful places in the city. It's not easy to find so much grass in one place that isn't occupied by blankets, umbrellas or screaming kids. The only sounds you hear are the birds chirping and the wind blowing through the trees. It's a gr

A Sad Day for Brixton's Raider Nation

Image
Well, we knew the day would come. We were hoping that Brixton's first Oakland Raider game would be a victory. Especially against the San Diego Chargers. It looked so good for awhile...but alas, those darn Raiders disappointed us once again. I won't mention the fact that we were completely robbed of a touchdown and should have won the game. Oh wait, did I say that? I'll quote my dear friend Tosha by saying "I can't believe the Chargers even won! The Raiders actually deserved it." And Tosha's Dad is a former Chargers player...so you know she's completely unbiased. Whatever. At least Brixton had fun watching the game! Brixton & his Daddy...looking forward to the evening festivities! Lucy & Brixton...intently waiting to see if the refs would overturn the touchdown. Noel, Shauna, Brixton, Lucy & Olivia posing for a picture. But no matter what, Brixton will always be a part of the Raider Nation. It's his destiny. Like his parents
