Is it just me or do the weekends pass by in a complete blur?   Brixton and I relaxed in the cool house all day and didn't take a step outside.   We hung out by ourselves at home on Friday night and made a delicious steak dinner.   I drank a bottle of wine and "fell asleep" halfway through watching Wall Street.   I went out to breakfast with Becky for her birthday on Saturday morning while Tzaddi and Brixton hung out at home by themselves.  They had a very relaxed time together and Tzaddi gave him a bath without my assistance!  Although to be fair, all I ever do is spray Brixton with water :) Later, we went to a party for Becca to celebrate her 30th birthday and MBA graduation.   Becca & Brixton Rachel & Brixton After that, we went to East Village Tavern to bowl with my Dad's company.   It was their 5th annual company party - we had so much fun.   I swear I could take a million photos of Lucy with Brixton.  They are so sweet together!  They hung out together on

Every Wednesday, me, Delia and my Mom get together to drink wine after Delia gets off work.   All we do is drink wine (lots) and eat bread, cheese and fruit.   It is the best thing ever and we look forward to it all week!   This Winesday was even better because Dad came home from work and cooked us all dinner.       My Dad came home and completely held Lucy and Brixton's attention with his crazy story!    Lucy is too sweet - she loves to help change Brixton's diaper.   Look at how she's holding his hand! Nana came over to visit with Brixton on Thursday morning.  Even though she's a complete crab (and I can say that because she doesn't use the internet) she loves little babies.  She especially loves to make them cry.  Anyone who has met my Nana knows how grouchy and mean she is...but look - she is actually smiling and so is Brixton!

At 12:44 this morning, Brixton was officially 8 weeks old.   We've changed approximately 560 diapers. Been spit up on at least 150 times. Washed almost 30 loads of laundry. We've given him over 1,000 kisses. Cuddled him for approximately 800 hours. Is he spoiled or what?   Here's a few pictures taken on his birthday...and a few we took today.   What a difference 8 weeks makes!         It's amazing how tired we looked that day...oh wait - we look just as tired today!    

It's official.   Brixton is going to suck his thumb.   Check it out. We've tried to get him to suck on a binky but he keeps spitting it out. What's worse?   Having him suck his thumb or a pacifier? All we know is that he's genetically predisposed to suck his thumb.   I sucked my index finger (weird, I know). Tzaddi was a thumb sucker and a hair twirler. We'll love him no matter what!

We had quite a weekend!   Friday night we hung out over at Delia and Nick's house and Sunday we lazed around the house all day.   But Saturday was the busiest! The whole Inzunza family came over to our house.   Lucy had a lot of fun playing with Brixton...and Brixton had a lot of fun watching Lucy!   Later on, we went over to Angela & Dan's house for dinner.   They made us delicious lasagna and everyone got to hold Brixton! Becky Kevin Angela Even though Brixton had fun with everyone, he had the most fun with Daniel.   He was smiling and cooing - it was so cute!   I think he wanted to let Dan know thanks in advance for the yummy lasagna.   

Tante Carleen, Bryan & Quinn came to visit with Brixton yesterday.   Carleen couldn't believe how big he's gotten since she last saw him.   Quinn was slightly interested...but he had much more fun playing with his legos.

The morning started off with Tzaddi getting some much needed cuddle time with Brixton before leaving for work.   After Tzaddi left for work, Brixton and I got ready for our day.   He and I decided to make another visit to Petco to visit the people that we missed on Friday.  Unfortunately, I left my camera in the car and failed to take any pictures.   But we had lots of fun despite the lack of paparazzi.     After Petco, we stopped by my Mom's house to see her and Lucy.   Lucy and Brixton are turning out to be the best of friends! Last night we went to visit an even newer baby than Brixton - Chloe Lynn Angstead.   She was born on August 6th and is too cute for words.   It was super cool to chit chat about being new parents again with great friends. Toni, Dylan, Marc & Chloe We're new Mom's - that's why we look so tired! Aren't the Daddies handsome?
