It's Been Three Years

Image
It's been exactly three years since Rowan passed away. It feels like yesterday. In just a bit over a month from now, Rowan will have been gone longer than he was here. We still miss him more than words can say. He taught us so much: How to love How to be loved Compassion Empathy Hope Gratitude Rowan will always be our first child. Rowan will always be Brixton's big brother. I can tell you exactly how we spent every hour on this same day three years ago. I can tell you how the final roller coaster started four days ago...three years ago. I remember making the call to my family; telling them to come right away. I remember listening to Tzaddi as he told his family to get on the next plane. Here's a glimpse into our lives three years ago...and perhaps a glimpse into yours. Feeding Time

We're on the fast track to feeding Brixton...trying to introduce him to new foods every few days. Here's some video of Brixton's first bout with green beans: I think green beans have been his least favorite veggie so far! We went over to Hacienda Hughes on Saturday night to have some family fun. I enlisted some help with feeding Brixton...and Lucy was super eager to assist! The kids had a blast...as usual. We played games and the kids played in Lucy's crib. Check out Brixton's chubby little legs kicking Lucy! Hugs! My men...do they have to dress alike?

A Busy Week

We've had quite a busy week! Last Sunday was our TWELFTH anniversary - can you believe it? Our friend Ryan flew into town from Virginia. This was his first time meeting Brixton and they were both happy to see each other. Since Sunday was the only day that the whole fam damily could get together with Ryan, we went over to the Cannington Manor to hang out with everyone. What better way to celebrate an anniversary than with the people you love? Okay, I guess I could think of a few better things to do...if you know what I mean ;) The cousins had a blast playing with each other - and we had a blast watching! Isn't Fisher so cute in his glasses? I think Lucy is trying to push Fisher over... Don't worry, he got his revenge! They're still friends... We couldn't get Fisher to sit next to Brixton, so we had to improvise with the bench. Aren't they all so cute together? We ended the day with giving Brixton his first bite of peas. Do you think he liked them? Here we are
