Christmas Vacation

Ah, we had such a wonderful Christmas vacation!
The holiday was kicked off by celebrating Nick's birthday with the traditional pancake breakfast.
While the adults stuffed their faces & drank mimosas, the kiddos played in Lucy's room.

I think Brixton was trying to tell me he wants a big-boy bed.
But I'm not quite ready for that!

Later that day, Brixton showed Pixel some love.

I think he was trying to be so nice to ensure that Santa came to visit!

No doubt about it, Brixton LOVED having his Daddy home for 2 weeks!

Merry Christmas!
Isn't it cute how both of my boys have bleary eyes and bed head?

Brixton started a new trend of smelling all the clothes he got for Christmas.
A bit weird, right?

I think he really liked the Holland jersey (thanks Dangela!) since he walked away with it!

Brixton was the first grandkid to arrive at the Cannington Manor...so he got to play with the brand new castle all by himself!
Think he's happy???

He was very happy to sit next to his Nana.

I don't know what they're looking at, but Brixton is obviously very excited!

HAHAHA - yeah right!
I'm sure it'll get more use helping Tzaddi in the kitchen...or perhaps he can use it when he's trying to shine someone's shoes?

Abbi was very happy to have a handmade blanket by Delia to match her new room!

Brixton is already planning on being a very helpful big brother :)

This kid definitely needs a haircut...

So we decided to take Brixton to get his FIRST haircut on his half-birthday.

He was quite pleased with the results!

We spent New Year's Eve celebrating at Hacienda Hughes.

I obviously use the term "celebrating" rather loosely;)

What a handsome hubby!

We took the kiddos to The Station so we could all have a beer and relax while the kids played.

I like to call this the headlock-hug.

I wonder what Lucy is going to do once Brixton gets bigger than her...

As usual, we were all partied out for Tzaddi's birthday.
But he had a nice relaxing day with all the family - which is exactly what he wanted!
Unfortunately, I didn't remember to take out the camera until after bathtime.
I forgot the flash on this pix so it only looks good in black & white.
But a nice picture nonetheless, right?

What a brat!

I think Brixton was ready for bed...he was very happy to know that it was time to read books!

Lucy Turns Three!

We went to a baby shower and they had a bouncy house for all the kids. There weren't that many kids using it though, so Lily was nice enough to take Brixton in there for his first time. He LOVED it! I know, I know...Brixton isn't wearing any pants. It was SUPER hot and he was wearing jeans so I just decided to take them off. A bit trashy, but we were around family ;) The next day, we had Lucy's birthday party at Hacienda Hughes. Saturday Morning Sweetness

On Saturday morning, Tzaddi went to play disc golf for the first time in 3 months and Brixton and I stayed home. Brixton was in such a good mood and he was so chatty! Of course, this is his usual expression...I think he frowns on purpose so that I'll smile at him and then he can smile back! Pixel has become increasingly interested in Brixton. She likes to see just how close she can get before we yell at her. She also really likes trying to lick his face without us knowing. Luckily, I caught it on camera! Although Brixton doesn't look too upset, does he? Now, this is a rather lengthy video and you have to listen to my horrible singing but I promise you it's worth it! We were listening to B is for Bob and Brixton enjoyed the impromptu live concert.

Happy Birthday, Tzaddi!

We went to Shakespeare Pub & Grille for Tzaddi's birthday lunch on Saturday. Yes, folks...Tzaddi turned 32 - can you believe it??? I know this picture isn't great because of the sun, but it gives you an idea of how beautiful it was! At least I made up for it with this one: Mom and Dad came over in the evening to give Tzaddi a birthday present. Brixton wasn't too interested, though - I think he got too spoiled at Christmas! Lucy likes playing with all of Brixton's toys and doesn't mind sharing...sometimes! Where does she think she's going with his toy??? She doesn't look guilty at all! Mom offered to watch Brixton and Lucy so we could go out to dinner. I don't think they look too upset... Here we are at Shogun's . They gave Tzaddi a birthday hat and made him do a dance before he could eat his free (and awful) vanilla ice cream.
