It's About Darn Time!

This has gotten absolutely ridiculous!
I find that I'm so busy running after a 2-yr old while a 5-month old hangs off my boob that I hardly have time to take any photos, let alone upload and post to the blog.

So here's the latest and greatest since the last time I posted!
You'll find that most of these pix were taken on a weekend morning...hence most of the pj and diaper shots. I haven't even edited the photos, so sorry in advance for any red eye!

Easter
We had an Easter egg hunt in the backyard...look how tiny Sawyer was!

Later on we went to The Cannington Manor for some Easter crafts...

Then we were silly enough to think that we could all take some family photos...of course, after the kids have run out of their sugar high!

Nana Noni and I took Brixton to play miniature golf for his 2nd birthday - he had a blast!

Afterwards, we had a small pizza party at the house.

He seems very happy with his music wand!

But even happier with his tool set!

And he even got a bicycle for his birthday...complete with a helmet to protect his noggin!

This was their first official game of ball...they rolled it back and forth a couple of times until Brixton got mad that Sawyer was drooling all over his ball!

Brixton had his first dentist appointment and he did a great job! He even asked for "again mouth dentist" after the doc was done. And no cavities - whew!

Take note that Delia looks 100 times better than Mom and me...despite the fact that it's 3 in the morning and Delia just birthed a baby!

Lucy Turns Three!

We went to a baby shower and they had a bouncy house for all the kids. There weren't that many kids using it though, so Lily was nice enough to take Brixton in there for his first time. He LOVED it! I know, I know...Brixton isn't wearing any pants. It was SUPER hot and he was wearing jeans so I just decided to take them off. Saturday Morning Sweetness

On Saturday morning, Tzaddi went to play disc golf for the first time in 3 months and Brixton and I stayed home. Brixton was in such a good mood and he was so chatty! Of course, this is his usual expression...I think he frowns on purpose so that I'll smile at him and then he can smile back! Pixel has become increasingly interested in Brixton. She likes to see just how close she can get before we yell at her. She also really likes trying to lick his face without us knowing. Luckily, I caught it on camera! Although Brixton doesn't look too upset, does he? Now, this is a rather lengthy video and you have to listen to my horrible singing but I promise you it's worth it! We were listening to B is for Bob and Brixton enjoyed the impromptu live concert.

It's Been Three Years

It's been exactly three years since Rowan passed away. It feels like yesterday. In just a bit over a month from now, Rowan will have been gone longer than he was here. We still miss him more than words can say. He taught us so much: How to love How to be loved Compassion Empathy Hope Gratitude Rowan will always be our first child. Rowan will always be Brixton's big brother. I can tell you exactly how we spent every hour on this same day three years ago. I can tell you how the final roller coaster started four days ago...three years ago. I remember making the call to my family; telling them to come right away.
