Another Year Gone

Can you believe another year has passed?
To honor the old saying "out with the old and in with the new," we spent the last day of 2009 saying good-bye to an old friend.
But it was definitely time!

We called Ecology Auto Wrecking and they picked up the car to turn it into scrap.
Poor Saaby!

The guys went to the Holiday Bowl and Delia and I had Sister Night. We had so much fun playing with the kids and giving Brixton a bath in Lucy's bathtub (he pooed all over himself). After his bath, we put the kids into the crib together so they could play.

We had a relatively uneventful New Year's Eve...mainly because we (I) were too hungover to have a lot of fun. But I think we had a good time nonetheless!

Did I say that Brixton was going to be a soccer player?
Perhaps he's going to be a basketball player!

    Brix just keeps getting cuter & cuter every time I look at another pic of him. I smile SO BIG at all the cousin pics too, could they get any cuter together?? : )

Lucy Turns Three!

We went to a baby shower and they had a bouncy house for all the kids. There weren't that many kids using it though, so Lily was nice enough to take Brixton in there for his first time. He LOVED it! I know, I know...Brixton isn't wearing any pants. It was SUPER hot and he was wearing jeans so I just decided to take them off. Happy Birthday, Tzaddi!

We went to Shakespeare Pub & Grille for Tzaddi's birthday lunch on Saturday. Yes, folks...Tzaddi turned 32 - can you believe it??? I know this picture isn't great because of the sun, but it gives you an idea of how beautiful it was! At least I made up for it with this one: Mom and Dad came over in the evening to give Tzaddi a birthday present. Brixton wasn't too interested, though - I think he got too spoiled at Christmas! Lucy likes playing with all of Brixton's toys and doesn't mind sharing...sometimes! Where does she think she's going with his toy??? She doesn't look guilty at all! Mom offered to watch Brixton and Lucy so we could go out to dinner. I don't think they look too upset... Here we are at Shogun's . They gave Tzaddi a birthday hat and made him do a dance before he could eat his free (and awful) vanilla ice cream. Saturday Morning Sweetness

On Saturday morning, Tzaddi went to play disc golf for the first time in 3 months and Brixton and I stayed home. Brixton was in such a good mood and he was so chatty! Of course, this is his usual expression...I think he frowns on purpose so that I'll smile at him and then he can smile back! Pixel has become increasingly interested in Brixton. She likes to see just how close she can get before we yell at her. She also really likes trying to lick his face without us knowing. Luckily, I caught it on camera! Although Brixton doesn't look too upset, does he? Now, this is a rather lengthy video and you have to listen to my horrible singing but I promise you it's worth it! We were listening to B is for Bob and Brixton enjoyed the impromptu live concert.
