I won't give you any excuses on my lack of blogging.
Okay, I'll give you one:
Brixton is adorable and has been keeping us on our toes!

The Cliff Notes:

Mother's Day
We went to the Farmer's Market in Hillcrest with the Inzunza's just like we did last year. Delia and I decided that would be our new tradition. After the Farmer's Market, we went over to the Cannington Manor to relax and hang out.

Brixton's First Visit to Sea World
Mom and I took Lucy and Brixton to Sea World for the very first time to see Delia dance. The kids had a great time despite the cold weather and we only had ONE meltdown. Not bad, huh?

Memorial Weekend
We had the Inzunza and Angstead families over for a Saturday Night BBQ. The kiddies played in the teeny pool while we relaxed a bit. It was such a gorgeous day!

On Memorial Day, we went over to Hacienda Hughes to play in the backyard and eat some good grub.

Delia's had this super awesome pool since last summer and she opened it for the FIRST TIME on Memorial Day. I think she saw how much fun the kids were having at my house in a $5 plastic pool and couldn't lose the "Fun Backyard Battle" ;)

These sunglasses were on for the exact amount of time that it took me to snap this photo.

We plan on dressing him up as a Mexican wrestler for Halloween and want to make sure we get the costume just right ;)

1st Weekend of June
Lucy and Brixton have fun playing around while we get ready to go to Shauna's baby shower:

We went to Hacienda Hughes to get some playtime in the sun on Sunday.
Brixton had fun pretending to comb his Auntie's hair with the sunblock.
He sure loves his Auntie!
By the way, Brixton has been "walking" for over a week now. He took 9 steps in a row over the weekend and he walked about 5 feet today. I won't say that he's truly walking...but I'm sure we're just weeks away!

Lucy Turns Three!

We went to a baby shower and they had a bouncy house for all the kids. There weren't that many kids using it though, so Lily was nice enough to take Brixton in there for his first time. He LOVED it! I know, I know...Brixton isn't wearing any pants. It was SUPER hot and he was wearing jeans so I just decided to take them off. A bit trashy, but we were around family ;) The next day, we had Lucy's birthday party at Hacienda Hughes. Saturday Morning Sweetness

On Saturday morning, Tzaddi went to play disc golf for the first time in 3 months and Brixton and I stayed home. Brixton was in such a good mood and he was so chatty! Of course, this is his usual expression...I think he frowns on purpose so that I'll smile at him and then he can smile back! Pixel has become increasingly interested in Brixton. She likes to see just how close she can get before we yell at her. She also really likes trying to lick his face without us knowing. Luckily, I caught it on camera! Although Brixton doesn't look too upset, does he? Now, this is a rather lengthy video and you have to listen to my horrible singing but I promise you it's worth it! We were listening to B is for Bob and Brixton enjoyed the impromptu live concert.

It's Been Three Years

It's been exactly three years since Rowan passed away. It feels like yesterday. In just a bit over a month from now, Rowan will have been gone longer than he was here. We still miss him more than words can say. He taught us so much: How to love How to be loved Compassion Empathy Hope Gratitude Rowan will always be our first child. Rowan will always be Brixton's big brother. I can tell you exactly how we spent every hour on this same day three years ago. I can tell you how the final roller coaster started four days ago...three years ago. I remember making the call to my family; telling them to come right away.
