Exactly Eight Weeks Old

At 12:44 this morning, Brixton was officially 8 weeks old.  

We've changed approximately 560 diapers.
Been spit up on at least 150 times.
Washed almost 30 loads of laundry.

We've given him over 1,000 kisses.
Cuddled him for approximately 800 hours.

Is he spoiled or what?  

Here's a few pictures taken on his birthday...and a few we took today.  
What a difference 8 weeks makes!
It's amazing how tired we looked that day...oh wait - we look just as tired today!

    He looks great and so do you! Love the new hair! It is amazing how much he has grown in 8 weeks!

Lucy Turns Three!

We went to a baby shower and they had a bouncy house for all the kids. There weren't that many kids using it though, so Lily was nice enough to take Brixton in there for his first time. He LOVED it! I know, I know...Brixton isn't wearing any pants. It was SUPER hot and he was wearing jeans so I just decided to take them off. A bit trashy, but we were around family ;) The next day, we had Lucy's birthday party at Hacienda Hughes. Happy Birthday, Tzaddi!

We went to Shakespeare Pub & Grille for Tzaddi's birthday lunch on Saturday. Yes, folks...Tzaddi turned 32 - can you believe it??? I know this picture isn't great because of the sun, but it gives you an idea of how beautiful it was! At least I made up for it with this one: Mom and Dad came over in the evening to give Tzaddi a birthday present. Brixton wasn't too interested, though - I think he got too spoiled at Christmas! Lucy likes playing with all of Brixton's toys and doesn't mind sharing...sometimes! Where does she think she's going with his toy??? She doesn't look guilty at all! Mom offered to watch Brixton and Lucy so we could go out to dinner. I don't think they look too upset... Here we are at Shogun's . They gave Tzaddi a birthday hat and made him do a dance before he could eat his free (and awful) vanilla ice cream. It's Been Three Years

It's been exactly three years since Rowan passed away. It feels like yesterday. In just a bit over a month from now, Rowan will have been gone longer than he was here. We still miss him more than words can say. He taught us so much: How to love How to be loved Compassion Empathy Hope Gratitude Rowan will always be our first child. Rowan will always be Brixton's big brother. I can tell you exactly how we spent every hour on this same day three years ago. I can tell you how the final roller coaster started four days ago...three years ago. I remember making the call to my family; telling them to come right away.
